Alloy 6013 is a new medium strength aerospace alloy that provides improved corrosion resistance and formability for use in aerospace applications including primary aircraft structures.

Aluminium alloy AMS 4347, 6013 has s imilarities to the following standard designations and specifications ;
Alloy 6013, UNS A96013, ASTM B209
TEMPER TYPES
6013 is supplied in a wide range of tempers:
- O - Soft
- T4 - Solution heat treated and naturaly aged to a substantially stable condition
- T6 - Solution heat treated and artificially aged
- T651 - Solution heat treated, stress relieved by stretching then artificially aged

6013 is supplied in plate, bar, round bar and sheet.
