7075 T6511 is preferred highly as a rod. There is also the use of pipes, but with narrow tolerances it is preferred as extrusion seamless. Although 7075 T6511 is an aluminum alloy very similar to 7075 T6, after heat treatment straightening process was applied for certain tolerance values. Due to its good anodized coating properties, extrusion pipe / profile and flat / bar production is very advantageous in terms of cost and lead time. Both the straightening process and the internal tension removel, making the 7075 T6511 very preferable due to its price.
